Although joining a writers group can be intimidating, it can also be one of the most rewarding experiences of a writer\'s life and an invaluable tool towards publication. I hope to create a group that cultivates open, constructive criticism and a support structure that can encourage and provide information to fellow writers.

The first Central Connecticut Writers Group meeting will be held at Panera Bread on the Berlin Turnpike on Thursday, January 7th, 2010 at 5:00 pm to 9:00pm and could possibly carry over to Sliders Bar and Grill in Berlin. It will be the standard meet and greet with no pressure to share, although I will open up the floor for anyone to share up to five pages of their work.
