Words and pictures are what Kara’s all about. She has served as writer and editor for two national magazines, and for the past five years has been a copywriter working with well-known global entertainment brands. When she’s not at work, Kara divides her time between many creative pursuits. She’s currently working on a manuscript for a children’s novel and shoots fine art photography while helping her husband run Sonny Parlin Photography.

Hi, Kara,
Is this the ‘creativity’ project you mentioned?
Hi Leonard,
Connecticut Creative is a site I’m contributing articles to, but I don’t run the site. I’m a new writer here, and I will be very involved with it going forward. It’s a great resource that highlights a lot of the local talent in CT.
The one we discussed at the TweetCrawl is sparklab.org, which is the site I’m developing. It’s not live yet, but hopefully will be soon.
